Irish Add Fire Power to Line Up

Ben Kozar to play for Irish

The Detroit Fighting Irish added some fire power to their lineup today.  GM Dan Vasquez announced the signing of 6’0” Forward Ben Kozar. The 2002 birthdate is a 2020 graduate of Milford High School where he was the team's captain and one of the team’s top offensive performers. Kozar scored 35 pointe 25 goals and 10 assists in 25 games last season and earned MHSSA all-league honors. 

Ben brings a strong set of offensive skills as well as experience as a leader we have had Ben in our sights since this year's recruiting season began, we are excited and happy that Ben will be in our line up stated player personnel director Sam Shaheen 

I'm extremely excited to get the season moving along and look forward to playing with the Irish. Irish forward Oliver Allen and I played Youth hockey together and we always had great chemistry, I am looking forward to playing with Allen. 

The Fighting Irish will begin training camp on Tuesday September 8th at the team's home arena in Southgate Michigan in preparation for the USPHL league schedule which will begin in early October.
