Volunteer Video Coach:
The Detroit Fighting Irish are seeking a Volunteer Video Coach.
Job responsibilities will be watching film of our team, and of teams in the league. Helping find areas of weakness within our own team, as well as identifying trends on other teams. Knowledge of hockey systems, how to recognize and how to counter them. All DFI games are recorded and broadcast on HockeyTV. We also utilize Instat programs that break down films from each game.
The video coach will be working hand and hand with the coaching staff to identify ways to develop and compete at the highest level.
Travel is not necessary, and you can set your own schedule! A great opportunity to develop as a video coach, and move on to the next levels!
Volunteer Equipment Manager:
The Detroit Fighting Irish are looking for a Volunteer Equipment Manager for the 2020-21 season!
Job responsibilities will include equipment inventory and maintenance (no purchasing), practice and game day job duties, general maintenance and oversight of the equipment room. Flexible schedule and a fun working environment.
Skate sharpening experience not required.
